Order Status Inquiries

Q. When will I receive my order?
Orders placed before 11 AM Eastern Standard Time will be shipped within 48 - 72 hours. There are a few exceptions, of course. The item(s) must be in stock when your order is placed, you must use a credit card and it must clear with no problems. Also, items with embroidery, special engraving, or some customization might include additional processing time.
Your UPS Ground package should arrive within 3 - 7 business days (Monday - Friday, based on location and excluding weekends and holidays). West Coast orders generally arrive within 7 - 9 business days.  For faster delivery options, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air is available for an additional charge. For Next Day Air or other information, please contact our convenient Customer Service Line toll free at 1-800-631-0480 from M-F  9AM – 5PM. 

Q. What happens if the product I order is not available?
The product will be ordered for you and automatically shipped out once received. Most of the time, the product has already been ordered by our Purchasing Department. If we have your updated email address, we will inform you via email when your product is shipped. If you have any questions regarding your order, please call our Customer Service line toll free at 1-800-631-0480 from M-F 9 AM - 5PM Eastern Time.

Q. If a product requires proof of occupation, how do I provide the credentials required to place my order?
Because of the unique protective aspect of Law Enforcement, some of our products are not sold to the general public. Products such as automatic knives, large containers of defense sprays, batons and body armor are sold only to law enforcement, military and some security personnel with proof of occupation. All items that include POLICE, SHERIFF, AGENT or PAROLE lettering are restricted and require proof of occupation with purchase.

Q. Do you charge sales tax?
We Do NOT charge Sales Tax on any apparel or footwear.   Please note that on  equipment items, metal items, and some accessories shipped to N.J. or picked up in N.J. there is a 7.0% Sales Tax.  

Q. Can I cancel my order and how long would it take to get my credit back?
Yes, as long as the order hasn't been shipped or customized. If you cancel prior to ship confirmation, your credit card will Not be charged and if you've mailed a check to us, you will receive a check within 14 - 21 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding weekends and holidays).

Q. How are shipping charges calculated?
Almost all standard shipping Ground charges are based on the total dollar value of your order.
When purchasing online, you can view your shipping charge before submitting your order.
Additional shipping charges will apply for products of excessive size or weight.
For international orders, the customer is responsible for any custom fees and special shipping and handling charges. Tariff charges do not apply.  Please also note that as of January 2013, we ship ALL Int’l online web orders outside the U.S. via Bongo International where you must sign up for a Bongo account at checkout.

Q. How can I track my package?
Please contatct us and we will do it for you at this time.  We will offer online tracking in the spring of 2013. 

Q. Can I use my own shipping account number to ship my order?
Yes, you can as long as it is with UPS.  Additional small handling fees may apply.

At INTAPOL, earning and keeping your trust is the standard for everything we do. We never sell, rent or trade e-mail addresses with any other company.

Do you sell, rent or trade customer e-mail addresses?
No. We never sell, rent, or trade e-mail addresses.

Does INTAPOL share names and addresses with third parties?
No. The personal information you have provided us and information about your order is not shared with third parties. This information is not combined with other personally identifiable information (such as demographic information and past purchase information) available from our records and other sources. This information will not be used to make our future marketing efforts more efficient. It will also not be used by our marketing partners to bring you other offers of interest.

What kind of information will I be asked to provide?
When you place an order, request e-mail updates, request a catalog, or participate in a promotion, contest or survey, we may ask for some or all of the following: your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. If placing an order, we may ask for credit card information.
We maintain a record of your online, catalog and store purchases. If you ship your order to an address different from your billing address, we will ask you to enter the Ship To name and address. We never use these e-mail addresses for any other purpose.

How will INTAPOL use the information I provide?
Your information is used to process and deliver your order to the address you request. Your payment information allows us to bill your credit card company. If we have any questions regarding your order, we will contact you by phone or e-mail. If you make a purchase, we may send you information and updates about new products, special sales and promotions. We use both e-mail and postal addresses to share information with our customers.
We may use testimonials from our customers in printed material or on our Web site, but only when we have express permission to do so. Testimonials come from customer comments sent or e-mailed directly to us.

Do I need a password to order from INTAPOL?
No. However, you may find it more convenient if you sign up for an account with us. In your account we can store your name, address and credit card information so you don't have to enter that information during future shopping visits. Only the last four digits of your credit card numbers are displayed for easy identification.

How do I update my personal information?

Does intapol.com use cookies?
intapol.com does use cookies to make your shopping experience more efficient, convenient and personalized. Cookies are required for you to shop our site or to place an order. To learn more about cookies and how to enable them, click here.

How do I discontinue promotional e-mails?
At the bottom of each e-mail is information about removing your name from our e-mail list. After you make a purchase, for your convenience we will still send e-mail order confirmations and information about your order. We may also contact you by phone or mail if we have questions regarding your order.

Security

How do I know INTAPOL is a secure site?
We use state-of-the-art technology to encrypt your personal and financial information before it is sent. The ordering area of our site is protected this way and is referred to as secure.  You never have to worry when you send us your credit card information.

Does intapol.com use SSL technology?
Yes. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology is the gold standard in Internet encryption. This highly sophisticated system scrambles your financial data as it travels from your computer to our Web site, making it useless to anyone but intapol.com. 

How do I know when I am in secure mode?
If you look at the Web site address in your browser window, non-secure sections of our site begin with "http://". When you move to a secure area, the address changes to "https://"; the "s" means secure. You'll also see a lock displayed in the lower right-hand corner. If for any reason you cannot access a secure area of our site to place your order, please call 800-631-0480. Our customer service representatives are available daily from 9 – 5 EST. 

What if an unauthorized purchase occurs?
We will do whatever we can to help resolve the situation. The Fair Credit Billing Act requires your bank or credit card company to hold you responsible for no more than $50 of unauthorized or fraudulent charges on a credit card. Most debit card issuers voluntarily adopt the same liability limitations as credit card issuers, but you may want to check with your bank to make sure. Remember: if unauthorized use of your credit or debit card does occur, it is your responsibility to notify your card provider as stated in your agreement with them.
